About La Tempesta® Biscotti…

Deemed perfect as a complement to great coffee by the small group of espresso aficionados of the day, La Tempesta slowly perfected its distinctive artisan baking style. As word-of-mouth news about this creative bakery in California spread from retailer to roaster, from critic to consumer, La Tempesta began to add new ovens — and add new ideas — about making biscotti.

Today, inspired by the abundance of California's food markets and satisfying the tastes of a new generation of espresso drinkers, the La Tempesta family of recipes includes both classic Tradizionali crunchy and original Americano softer biscotti.

Unlike many "Giovanni-Come-Lately" biscotti companies, La Tempesta is treasured by food enthusiasts everywhere as an authentic masterpiece.

Simple, Delicious, Authentic.

Our Tradizionali line represents original-style Italian biscotti. Tuscan in origin, this style of crisp and crunchy biscotto is traditionally enjoyed with strong coffee or dessert wines. La Tempesta has created a delicious trattoria collection, including traditional Toscani almond and bittersweet Cioccolotti flavors.

La Tempesta offers five flavors of its original butter-free crunchy Tuscan-style biscotti under the Tradizionali line.

The Americano line offers crisp, yet slightly softer biscotti—"not too baked". The fusion of Californian influences is evident here, with the addition of such deliciously nontraditional flavors as Vanilla Almond or Chocolate Macadamia Chunk.

La Tempesta offers three innovative flavors of butter-added biscotti under its slightly softer California-style Americano line.

Chocolate Toffee Almond
Available in two sizes—2.25 oz. and 1.125 oz., this vanilla almond biscotti is blended with rich chunks of toffee, then baked and sliced. Enrobed with a coating of smooth milk chocolate, it's then sprinkled with more bits
